Harsha and Hasini clinch Novices Intermediates TT titles

Harsha Kashyap of Vidyartha College, Kandy and Hasini Dullewa of Hillwood College, Kandy emerged champions in the All Island Novices Intermediate men’s and women’s table tennis championship conducted by at the Municipal Council Indoor Stadium in Kegalle.   

It was conducted by the TS Table Tennis Academy in collaboration with the Sabaragamuwa Province Table Tennis Association and approved by the Table Tennis Association of Sri Lanka.   

The Novices Age group Boys and Girls Table Tennis Championship 2021 was also held concurrently.

Under 9 Boys: Kenura Silva (Nalanda College) beat Senon Duljith (Dharmasoka College) 13/11, 11/5   
Under 9 Girls: Shenella Sharindri (Holy Cross College) beat Ranumi Patabendi (Girl High School) 15/13, 12/10   
Under 11 Boys: Dinula Attanayaka (Bandaranayaka CC) beat Yoshitha Vihangasiri (Vidyartha College) 11/8, 11/8   
Under 11 Girls: Melisha Anthony (Good Shepherd Convent) beat Sasini Panagoda (Vishaka Vidyalaya) 9/11, 11/6, 11/7   
Under 13 Boys: Akian Suranga (CIS) beat Lakshan Kavinda (Batapola Central College) 8/11, 11/8, 11/8   
Under 13 Girls: Veenara Punsiri (Karandeniya CC) beat Lakithma Somachandra (Girls High School, Kandy) 11/4, 11/2   
Under 15 Boys: Bimsara Rathnayake (Maliyadeva Boy’s College) beat Amila Udara (Maliyadeva Boy’s College) 11/8, 11/9
