Hasaranga, Sithuli clinch NPBA shuttle titles

Hasaranga Sooriyaarachchi and Sithuli Ranasinghe clinched the Men’s and Women’s Open Singles titles respectively at the Northern Province Badminton Association (NPBA) All-Island Championships, held at the Northern Province Indoor Badminton Sports Complex in Kilinochchi.

In the Under-19 Boys’ category, Sooriyaarachchi demonstrated his exceptional talent by clinching the Singles title, adding to his list of achievements in the prestigious tournament.
Meanwhile, Sandathi Dewmini also secured a double by winning the Under-19 Girls’ Singles title.

In the Men’s Doubles category, the duo of Alan Kristanato and Marcello Vittorio claimed the coveted title.

On the Women’s side, Irushi Amandi and Sandathi Dewmini showcased their prowess by securing the Open Women’s Doubles title.

The Open Mixed Doubles title was secured by the formidable partnership of Kristanato and Chandrika de Silva.
