Hiruna, Themal guide Lankan CC to big win

A fine knock of 176 by Hiruna Sigera, inclusive of 17 boundaries and three sixes and a matchbag of 12 wickets by left-arm spinner Themal Bandara helped Lankan CC to record a convincing innings and 194-run win over Singha SC, Ambalangoda in their SLC Premier Tier ‘B’ Inter-Club Cricket Tournament encounter played at Karandeniya.
Meanwhile, Old Dharmapalians SC cruised to an innings and 12-run win against Malay CC in another match played at Dombagoda while Rio SC and Navy SC secured outright wins over Kalutara TC and Leo SC respectively..
