Ibrahim Hamid no more

Former Zahira College, Police SC Captain and Match Commissioner of Sri Lanka Rugby Ibrahim Hamid passed away yesterday in Colombo succumbing to COVID-19.

Hameed played for Zahira College, Colombo and later led the Police outfit in 1971. 

He was attached to several committees at Sri Lanka Rugby (SLR) including as the high-ranking Match Commissioner until recently.

His son Zulki captained Royal and CR & FC and is currently in the Committee of the Longdon Place Club.
