India will take on hosts Bangladesh in the SAFF Under-19 Girls’ Football Tournament final in Dhaka today.
A total of five teams participated in this tournament with Sri Lanka bowing out from the event as the only team that failed to win a single game during the round-robin stage.
Sri Lanka conceded as many as 28 goals to their opponents from the four matches while losing to Bhutan (0-5), India (0-5), Nepal (0-6) and Bangladesh (0-12) respectively.
Bangladesh, with ten points, will move into the final with an unbeaten record having recorded three wins and drawn one game while India collected nine points with three wins and one defeat. Meanwhile, Nepal recorded two wins while Bhutan had a solitary win to their credit.
