J5 ITF Junior Circuit Week 2 Anjalika, Saajida, Vishmi and Dinara enter second round

Four Sri Lankans yesterday advanced to the second round of the girls’ J5 ITF Junior Circuit Week 2 tennis tournament conducted by the ITF and played at the SLTA tennis courts in Greenpath, Colombo.


Reigning national champion Anjalika Kurera, Saajida Razick, Vishmi Serasinghe and Dinara de Silva tasted success to move on in the competition. 


Viktoria Veleva of Bulgaria who won the first tournament along with Ji Hyum Kang (Korea), Jo-Leen Saw (Malaysia), Saanvi Gaarg (India), Diana Smolinska (Uruguay), Camille Fisette (Belgium), Jolene Fernandez (Canada), Madina Omarova (Kazakhastan), Yevhenila Zelenska (Ukraine), Sohini Sanjay Mohanty (India), Rishitha Reddy Basireddy (India) and Sowkhya Gaddam (India) were the others to advance to the second round.


The tournament will be continued today.
