Jaffna face Galle in LPL opener

In a rematch of last year's final, the Jaffna Kings will take on the Galle Gladiators in the opening match of the third season of the Lanka Premier League on August 1 at R Premadasa.

On the same day, the Colombo Stars will take on the newly rebranded Kandy Falcons as part of a double header.

The league stage of the tournament will end on August 15, with all matches upto August 10 at the R Premadasa Stadium.

All the subsequent matches, including the two Qualifiers, Eliminator and Final, on August 21, will be played at the Hambantota International Stadium.
