Kandy hold onto top spot

Kandy SC faced their stiffest challenge yet in the Inter Club Rugby League tournament, beating Navy SC 35-30 at Welisara, as they consolidated their position at the top of the points table.

The bonus point win ensures that Kandy have taken maximum available points from their three opening games, with Havelock SC hot on their heels with two bonus points from their three wins so far this season.

CR&FC meanwhile pulled off a stunning win over cross-town rivals CH&FC, beating them 27-22.
