K­­­­­­­­­­­ingswood to host Royal at Hockey­­­­­­­­

Kingswood College will host Royal College in their annual hockey encounter played for the Lennie de Silva Memorial trophy which will take place on September (22) at the Peradeniya University ground.

The inaugural took place in 2004, Lennie played for the Randles Hill school in cricket, tennis and football, he was also instrumental in introducing the game of hockey to Royal in 1955.
Kingswood will be led by S. D. Thushara with C.I. Sumanaratne being their head coach. 

Royal will be led by Akash Wijesekera head coach is Insaka Samaranayake.
