Ladies-Bishop’s Hockey encounters revived

The 16thedition of the Ladies College vs. Bishop’s College Under-17 and Under-19 Hockey Encounters 2022, revived after two years, will take place on Saturday (01) at Torrington Astro Turf, commencing at 2:30  p.m. and 4:00 p.m. respectively.

Bishop’s College, who won the previous Under-19 encounter in 2019, will be led by Onaya Kulathunga and Ladies College will be led by Seneca Dissanayake.

The series was inaugurated in 2005, and after 15 encounters Ladies College have won it on eight occasions and Bishop’s five times.  In 2010 and 2014 it was jointly won with the matches not held in 2020 and 2021.
