MCA “G” division matches marred by rain

Daminda Dharshana from Coats Thread Lanka (66), Milinda Weerasinghe from Unilever (50), Yahal Samantha from Regnis Appliances (52 not out) and Nuwan Chathuranga from Regnis Appliances scored half centuries in the ongoing 11th Stafford Motor Co. (Pvt) Ltd., sponsored, “Honda” Trophy, Mercantile Cricket Association (MCA), “G” division 25-Over League Tournament 2022,continued last week-end, April 9 and 10. The four matches that were played on Saturday, April 9, escaped the rain, but all 12 matches that were billed for Sunday, April 10 got washed off without a ball being bowled at Reid Avenue, D.S. Senanayake College, Dharmapala Grounds Pannipitiya, St. Joseph’s College Darley Road, Wesley College Campbell Park and Army Grounds Mattegoda.

Coats Thread Lanka beat Intrepid Group by 78 runs on the DLS method
