Sebastianites CC advanced to the final of the Major Club Emerging three-day cricket tournament by virtue of the first-inning win they recorded against Colts CC in the semi-final encounter that concluded at the P. Sara Stadium yesterday.
No play was possible on the final day, with Sebastianites CC having ended on 53/6 on day two on Saturday, and the match was called off due to the wet outfield.
Sebastianites CC, after being bowled out for a low score of 142 runs, fought back to bundle out Colts CC for a low score of 113 runs, ensuring them a berth in the final.
Sebastianites CC will now meet Tamil Union in the final.
