Major Club Limited Over Army SC, CCC record eighth win

Army SC and CCC recorded their eighth win of the Major Club limited over tournament to take the top and second slots in the Group ‘B’ category with wins over Panadura SC and Kurunegala YCC in the matches played at Panagoda and Kurunegala. 

Army SC with the win has secured 24 points with CCC one point behind while Chilaw Marians CC.
In the Group ‘A’ category Tamil Union and Moors SC recorded wins against Badureliya CC and Saracens SC to chalk up their seventh win to end up as the top teams after the completion of the ninth round matches.
The two teams along with ACE Captial CC who is lying in third position are equal on 21 points each but Tamil Union takes the top spot due to a better run rate.
