Major Club Limited Over Dinushka, Sameera, Dhanushka guide KYCC

A four-wicket haul by Dinushka Malan and a 62-run opening wicket stands between Sameera Sandamal and Dhanushka Dharmasiri paved the way for Kurunegala YCC to record a comfortable six wicket win over Kalutara TC in the Major Club Limited Over tournament encounter played at Maggona yesterday.

The match curtailed to 39 overs due to a late start saw Kalutara TC taking first lease of the wicket bowled out 97 runs and Kurunegala YCC in their run chase reached the target in the 23rd over to record third win of the tournament. 

Police SC secured their second win when they defeated Bloomfield by four wickets in another match played at the Police Park.

Three matches that were scheduled to be played at Dombagoda, Katunayake and Panadura was abandoned due to wet outfield without a ball being bowled.
