Maris Stella Negombo recorded their sixth win of the ongoing Under 19 inter-school limited over cricket tournament with a two-wicket win over Devapathiraja MMV Rathgama played at Negombo.
Maris Stella, after bowling out their opponents for a score of 153, reached the target in the 45th over. A ton by Thanusha Nethsara helped Isipathana College to coast to a convincing 93-run win against Ananda College in another match played at the BRC ground. In the other matches that were played Maliyadeva Kurunegala, St. Benedict’s College, Richmond College and Rahula College Matara came out on top.
