Masters Open Meet to attract foreign athletes

The 36th Annual Masters Open Athletic Championship will be held from January 13 to 15, 2023 at the Sugathadasa Stadium in Colombo.

The significant feature of this event will be the participation of athletes from all parts of the island, including the Northern Province and the Eastern Province.

In addition, many athletes from India and other Asian countries are also expected to add more glamour to this meet.

The meet will be open this year to athletes who are over the age of 30, with the aim of popularising masters’ athletics within the younger community.
