Mercantile Football K/O tournament enters semi final stage

HNB Assurance and Traveler Global entered the semi finals, in the Mercantile Football Association (MFA) knock- out Division One tournament 2023continued at the City League Grounds, Slave Island, Colombo 2.   

HNB Assurance scored a comfortable 3 –nil win over Akbar Brothers; R.Y. Semon (1) and M. Nitharsan (2) were the goal scorers for the winners.   

The Traveler Global beat HNB on penalties (3 – 2), as the score was dead locked at 1-1 at full time. S.J.M. Siyam scored for Traveler Globe and T.K. Bandara scored for HNB.  
The tournament will be continued during this week at the same venue with the following Semi Finals   

Division one : Expolanka Holdings Vs. Amana Bank and HNB Assurance Vs. Traveler Global.; Division Two : LOLC Vs. Ceylinco Insurance and Sri Lankan Airlines Vs. Softlogic Holdings.
