Mercantile Football knock-out tournament gets underway on January 10

The Mercantile Football Association (MFA) will conduct their “Knock-Out” Tournament 2022, from January 10 to 20 at the City League Grounds, Slave Island, Colombo 2.   
The tournament will be conducted on a new format with eight teams, four teams from Division ‘A’ and four teams from Division ‘B’, who participated in the League tournament.   

Match Programme: 

Match No. 1- January (10) HNB vs. LOLC   
Match No. 2- January (11) Akbar Bros. vs. Fairfirst Insurance   
Match No. 3- Between Ceylinco Insurance vs. Dialog Axiata will not take place as Ceylinco Insurance has received a W/O   
Match No. 4- January (13) Expolanka Group vs. NoLimit.   
1st Semi-Final- January (17) Winner Match No. 1 vs. Winner Match No. 2   
2nd Semi-Final- January (18) Ceylinco Insurance vs. Winner Match No. 4   
Final on January (20) - Winner SF 1 vs. Winner SF 2. (BM)
