The finals of the 2022 Munchee National Super League Volleyball tournament has been postponed indefinitely by the Sri Lanka Volleyball Federation (SLVB).
The finals was to be held on July 15 but SLVB decided to postpone it because of the fuel crisis affecting transportation, according to SLVB secretary AS Nalaka.
Eight men’s teams and five women’s team took part in the tournament. Ceylon Electricity Board and Air Force booked their berth in the men’s final while Army and Air Force qualified for the women’s final. SLVB will pick a national pool after the tournament.
This is in preparation for the Under 23 Men’s volleyball tournament in Bangladesh in October and Central Asia men and women volleyball tournament to be held in Maldives in December.
