Munchee Super League Volleyball to start from April 20 onwards

The Sri Lanka Volleyball Federation (SLVB) has decided to start the Munchee Super League Volleyball (men and women) tournament from April 20 onwards.  

The preliminary round will be played at Volleyball House Indoor Stadium in Galle and the finals at NYSC Maharagama.  

Nine men’s teams and eight women’s teams which excelled in the Munchee Nationals have been chosen for this competition.  

The SLVB executive will take a decision soon about this tournament considering the situation in the country, SLVB Secretary A.S. Nalaka said.  

The teams are:
Men - SL Army, SL Navy, SL Air Force, Police, Ports Authority, Electricity Board, NYSC, Ocean Lanka and SLTB  
Women - SL Army, SL Navy, SL Air Force, Ports Authority, Hirdramani, Rathanapala SC, NYSC and Casualine SC
