National Super League Battle for semis begins today

The National Super League four day cricket tournament has reached the final stages with four teams Colombo, Galle, Jaffna and Dambulla battling for the three remaining semi-final slots at Galle and Dambulla.   

The two matches down for decision today are Colombo vs. Galle at Galle Stadium and Dambulla vs. Jaffna at Rangiri Dambulla Stadium.   

Kandy who have completed their quota of matches and are lying on top of the points table with 42.24 points has already qualified to the semis and of the four teams in action Colombo lying second with 38.64, Galle in third with 32.89 and Jaffna fourth with 19.88 look the teams that could make it to the semis as Dambulla with 13.22 appear to only have an outside chance
