Galle had to be satisfied with a first-inning win over Dambulla in the four-day National Super League tournament encounter concluded at Galle yesterday.
Galle, resuming their second innings from their overnight score of 143/4, went on to make 339/8 declared. Dambula, set a target of 485 runs for victory, ended the day on 189/4.
