National Super League Limited Over Tournament Waduge, Lakshan star as Galle beat Jaffna

Pabasara Waduge (92* off 70 balls - two sixes, ten fours) and Danajaya Lakshan (70* off 44 balls - one six, 11 fours) guided Galle to an eight-wicket win over Jaffna in their National Super League Limited Over Tournament fixture played at the Pallekele Stadium yesterday. 

Playing under rainy weather, the duo made sure the Galle outfit claim the win in a match that was revised under D/L, making the target 197 runs from 25 overs. Galle just lost two wickets on their way to victory. 

Earlier, Jaffna skipper Dhananjaya de Silva scored an unbeaten 109 while Lahiru Thirimanne made 85 as they finished on 272/5. Akila Dananjaya claimed two wickets for Galle.
