The National Super League limited over tournament conducted by Sri Lanka Cricket with the participation of five teams namely Dambulla, Jaffna, Colombo, Kandy and Galle will get underway from today with two matches down for decision scheduled to be played at R. Premadasa Stadium and Sooriyawewa Stadium.
The two matches scheduled to be played today are Galle vs Kandy at R. Premadasa Stadium and Colombo vs Dambulla at Sooriyawewa Stadium. Defending champions Dambulla will play their first match against Colombo on August 31 at R. Premadasa Stadium and on the same day Kandy will meet Jaffba at Sooriyawewa Stadium.
The other scheduled matches to be played are September 4 – Dambulla vs Galle at R. Premadasa Stadium and Colombo vs Kandy at Sooriyawewa Stadium. September 9 – Jaffna vs Galle at R. Premadasa Stadium and Kandy vs Dambulla at Sooriyawewa Stadium. September 12 - Galle vs Colombo at R. Premadasa Stadium and Dambulla vs Jaffna at Sooriyawewa Stadium.
September 16 – Kandy vs Galle at R. Premadasa Stadium and Colombo vs Jaffna at Sooriyawewa Stadium. September 20 – Dambulla vs Colombo at R. Premadasa Stadium and Jaffna vs Kandy at Sooriyawewa Stadium. September 24 – Galle vs Dambulla at R. Premadasa Stadium and Kandy vs Colombo at Sooriyawewa Stadium.
September 28 – Galle vs Jaffna at R. Premadasa Stadium and Dambulla vs Kandy at Sooriyawewa Stadium. October 2 – Colombo vs Kandy at R. Premadasa Stadium and Jaffna vs Dambulla at Sooriyawewa Stadium.
The final is scheduled to be played on October 6 between the top two teams after the conclusion of the league matches.
