National Super League Skippers Kamindu, Dhananjaya crack tons

The two skippers Kamindu Mendis of Dambulla and Dhananjaya de Silva of Jaffna cracked tons to put their sides on top against Colombo and Kandy respectively on day one of the four day National Super League cricket tournament matches played at Pallekele and Sooriyawewa.
Kamindu made 115 inclusive of 15 boundaries and shared a massive stand of 194 runs for the second wicket with Leo Francisco who hit 87 for Dambulla taking first lease of the wicket to make a formidable score of 287 for 3.
Dhananjaya cracked 113 with 13 boundaries and supported by Janith Liyanage helped Jaffna taking first lease of the wicket to end day one on 309 for 7.
