Army Sports Club will take on Navy Sports Club in their league rugby tournament match at Welisara today with an eye on returning to the top 4 in the points table.

The Soldiers are currently placed fifth in the points table with 10 points and a victory over Navy would put them in the fourth place ahead of CH and FC.

Army have brought in prop forward Sreemamtha Diunugalage in place of Kelum Waranakulasooriya from last week to join Danilsha Dissanayake and Rasika Abeynayake in the front row while flanker Sanjaya Rathnayake is set to miss out this game with Chinthaka Sandaruwan coming into the third row.

The Soldiers have also brought in Isuru Medegedara at full back in place of Chathuranga Perera.

Navy on the other hand, will look to make most of the home advantage against Army with that heavy pack which includes Charith Silva and Vimukthy Deshan with captain Stephan Gregory starting on the bench.

Sri Lanka 7s player Adeesha Weeratunga would be a key player for Navy in the pack should look to utilize his height to best effect.
With Samuel Maduwantha locked in at fullback position, veteran Thilina Weerasinghe would be playing in wing three position while Dinesh de Silva has been preferred at fly half.
