Nearly ten netball national poolists test positive for Covid-19

Nearly ten members of the national netball pool have tested positive for Covid-19, according to Ranjani Jayakody, President of the Netball Federation of Sri Lanka (NFSL).   
The remaining players in the national pool will undergo rapid antigen tests before taking part in the first selection trials.   

The 54-member national pool is preparing for the Asian Netball Championship to be held in Singapore from September 2 to 10. The first selection trial is to be held on February 13 at Indoor Stadium in Bandaragama.   

Sri Lanka is confident of winning the Asian championship failing which they will not be able to take part in the 2023 Netball World Cup in South Africa
