Nuwara Eliya Summer Season Badminton from April 22 - 30

The Nuwara Eliya Summer Season Open Badminton Championships 2023 will be held at the Municipal Council Indoor Stadium from April 22 to 30.  

The organisers, Central Province Badminton Association, has received over 1000 entries for this year’s tournament, including more than 70 entries for Open events.  

A number of prominent shuttlers in the country will be in action at the championships which will be conducted with the support of Sri Lanka Badminton (SLB).  

The events to be conducted are Junior, Open and Senior singles, doubles and mixed doubles.  

SLB President Rohan de Silva and former mayor of Nuwara Eliya Chandana Lal Karunarathne will be among the special Guests along with SLB officials at the opening and closing ceremonies.
