Old Nalandians and Old Senanayakians score impressive wins

The Old Nalandians and Old Senanayakians scored impressive wins over Royal College Hockey Club and Old Bens SC respectively in the ongoing “Pioneer Cup” ‘A’ division, Colombo Hockey League 2022, continued at the Torrington Astro Turf.   

Old Nalandians beat Royal College HC 1-0 in a closely contested game whilst, Old Senanayakians got the better of the Old Bens 2-1.   

In the ‘B’ division, CH&FC scored a resounding 3-1 win over University of Colombo.   

In the “C” division- Old President’s HC beat CR&FC 2-0; Old Nalandians ‘B’ edged out Royal College HC ‘B’ 1-0 and Old Cambrians scored a fine 3-1 win over Colombo Colts CC.   
The two ‘A’ division games were umpired by M.J.M. Naushad (International Umpire) and Selvaraja Dineshkaran while the other divisions were umpired by Sathesh Kumar, A. Kulathunga and Abeetha Fernando. (BM)
