Old Thurstanites win Naomal Fernando Trophy

Old Thurstanites, led by Sriyan Gurusinghe, won the Naomal  Fernando Trophy when they beat Old Isipathanians in their Seventh Annual  Golf Tournament, which took place at the Royal Colombo Golf Club  (RCGC).  
Now the tally is level at 3-3 with one match ending in a  tie. The Old Thurstanites accounted for 218 points while the Old  Isipathanians collected 185 points.  
Thushara Rupasinghe of the Old Thurstanites won the Best  Player and the overall winner awards. The Best Nett player award went to  Professor Deepal Weerasinghe of the Old Isipathanians.
