The Royal Colombo Golf Club (RCGC) is set to host the highly anticipated third Omega 3-person scramble play format golf tournament on October 19.

There will be two shotgun starts with the first one at 7.00 a.m. and the second at 1.00 p.m.

Golf enthusiasts will gather for a day of competitive play and this year’s tournament will feature Texas 3-member scramble format with 138 golfers competing in groups of three, showing their skills on the renowned course.

This event will be worked off in 18 holes with a 3-person scramble. In case of a tie, the countback method would be used. The winning team is to tour Switzerland to watch the European Tour event Omega Classics in 2025.

This marks the third year of Omega’s sponsorship showing the support for golf and the brand’s commitment to the sport in Sri Lanka.

This event is a cherished tradition at the RCGC, attracting both amateur and seasoned golfers eager to test their mettle against one another.

Participants can look forward to an exciting day on the greens, where the best golfers will vie for the coveted medal and other prizes.

The RCGC, known for its lush fairways and challenging layout, promises a memorable golfing experience. As excitement builds, the Omega Trophy continues to strengthen ties between golf, community, and exceptional sporting excellence.

The prize giving will take place on the same evening at the Club House.
