Over 50 overseas applicants have already submitted their entries for the post of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Football Sri Lanka (FSL).
Out of those entries, the best 20 will be selected and an online test will be conducted before March 30, FSL sources revealed yesterday.
The appointment of a CEO from a FIFA-affiliated country is mandatory under the FIFA Constitution.

The FSL Executive Committee decided to appoint a CEO at the 2023/24 Annual General Meeting and a large number of foreign applicants have submitted their entries, FSL President Jaswar Umar stated.

The FSL has allocated a monthly package of US $5,000 for the CEO under the FIFA and AFC grants.
