Pakistan A arrives in Sri Lanka

Pakistan A led by Saud Shakeel arrived in Sri Lanka last evening (October 21) to play two four-day matches at the Pallekelle International Stadium. 


The squad will resume their training after a quarantine period of three days in the team hotel. The second phase of the tour will be a three one day match series in Dambulla.


Skipper Saud Shakeel has played in several One Day International matches for the Pakistan outfit while the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) selectors have named a few youngsters from the Under 19 squad who will feature in the Under 19 Cricket World Cup in February 2022 which will take place in West Indies. 


Touring Squad to Sri Lanka: Saud Shakeel (Captain), Kamran Ghulam (vice Capt), Mohammad Thaha, Abdullah Shafiq, Omair Bin Yousuf, Salman Ali Agha, Qasim Akram, Usman Salaudin, Salman Khan, Muhammad Haris, Ahmed Safi Abdullah, Zahid Mahmood, Abrar ahmad, Abbas Afridi, Naseem Shah, Irfan Ullah Shah, Khurram Shahzad and Arshard Iqbal

The two four-day matches will be played from 28 to 31 October and 4 to 7 November, while the three one-day matches will be on November 10, 12 and 14.
