Pavan and Sonal propel Sri Lanka ‘A’

Pavan Rathnayake and Sonal Dinusha struck unbeaten half centuries to give Sri Lanka ‘A’ an overall lead of 180 runs on the third day of their second 4-day unofficial Test against Pakistan ‘A’, continued in Rawalpindi yesterday.

Rathnayake hit an unbeaten 64 with six boundaries while Dinusha was not out on 51 with four boundaries as the visitors reached 157 for four in their second innings. The pair have also added 111 runs for the unfinished fifth wicket from 183 deliveries.     

Earlier, Pakistan ‘A’ made 287 with Wanuja Sahan claiming a five-wicket haul.
