Police Sports Club will face CR and FC in their third game of the Inter Club League Rugby Tournament at Longden Place on Friday.
Police SC haven't had a great start to the season having lost both the games they played. The Cops have got a lot of experience in their side with senior campaigners such as Rasith Silva, Chanaka Sooriyapperuma and captain Nisal Samadhi all set to feature in the starting XV.
They have also given opportunities to younger players such as Amjad Fawmy and Stefan Praveen.
CR and FC on the other hand have refused to provide their team to the media despite various attempts by Daily Mirror.
Team manager Rohan Chinthaka appears to believe that his team could take a cheap advantage by getting the opposite team but not giving the CR team which is an absolute disgrace to such a prestigious club.
Although the CR senior administration is run by gentlemen who have got some respect, Chinthaka's arrogance and unprofessionalism bring nothing but shame to a club that has got a quality fan base.
At international level, the teams are announced before the match day in an attempt to provide the best possible build-up to a game, but Chinthaka seems to think that his team could take advantage by hiding their team.
All the other clubs in the top division have wholeheartedly respected the tradition. Kandy for instance, has been champions for many years - but not once have they refused to provide the team news because champion teams usually don't take cheap advantage.
