Polonnaruwa Under-15 cruise to big win

Mesadu Nethmika and Deneth Sandal shone with half centuries in Polonnaruwa Under 15’s massive 168-run win over Vavuniya Under-15 in their Sri Lanka Youth League Under-15 Limited Over Cricket Tournament encounter played at Minneriya. 

Meanwhile, Mullaitivu Under-15, Kandy Zone 2, Badulla Under-15 and Kegalle Under-15 won their matches against Kilinochchi Under-15, Trincomalee Under-15, Monaragala Under-15 and Batticaloa Under-15 respectively.

At Minneriya – Polonnaruwa Under-15 won by 168 runs.

Polonnaruwa Under-15: 231 in 45.3 overs (Mesadu Nethmika 67, Deneth Sandul 51, Poorna Pruthuvi 26, Chamodya Nethupul 4/61, S. Sajeeth 2/21, V. Sriharis 2/28)

Vavuniya Under-15: 63 in 28.3 overs (Thejan Bandara 3/18, Chamindu Sasmitha 2/12, Sasmitha Chamod 2/23).
At Kilinochchi – Mullaitivu Under-15 won by 80 runs.

Mullaitivu Under-15: 178 in 40.4 overs (Jeyabaskaran Ajinthan 23, Sikanthan Karthikeyan 3/29, Jeyram Mathusan 3/30, Wignarasa Yogabavan 2/20)

At Batticaloa – Kandy Zone 2 won by two wickets.
