Premier Tier ‘B’ T20 Singha SC, Lankan CC, Malay CC, United Southern SC record wins

Singha SC along with Lankan CC, Malay CC and United Southern SC got off to a winning start in the Premier Tier ‘B’ T20 tournament when they recorded wins over Navy SC, Saracens SC, Leo CC and Kalutara TC in the first round matches played at Welisara, Katunayake and Braybrooke Place.

At Welisara - Singha SC won by 48 runs 

Singha SC 144 for 5 in 20 overs (Shannon Fernando 46, Rusiru Vilochana 34, Yohan Chanuka 22, Hareen Weerasinghe 21 n.o.: Lakshitha Madusanka 2/32)  
Navy SC 97 in 17.1 overs (Mewan Perera 31, Asith Weerasuriya 15: Akila Dilshan 3/14, Hareen Weerasinghe 3/20, Induwara Udena 2/18)  

At Katunayake - Lankan CC won by ten runs 

Lankan CC 127 for 9 in 20 overs (Chathura Peiris 50, Nethma Karunaratne 24, Dumindu Sewmina 20: Thanuga Palihawadana 2/14)  
Saracens SC 117 in 20 overs (Kasun Ekanayake 39, Thanuja Rajapakse 33: Sandesh Fernando 2/29)  

At Welisara - Malay CC won by three wickets

At Braybrooke Place - United Southern SC won by three wickets
