Rajithkumar, Leonurdin, Satharsan steer Northern Combined U19

Half-tons by Rajithkumar Newton and Leonurdin Randyo and a five-wicket haul by Satharsan Subarnan paved the way for Northern Combined U19 to record a comfortable 119-run win over Anuradhapura U19 in the ongoing SLC Provincial Youth League limited-over tournament encounter played at Anuradhapura. The duo’s knocks helped Northern Combined U19, taking first lease of the wicket, record a score of 244, and the fiver by Satharsan enabled them to bowl out Anuradhapura U19 to a score of 125.
In the other matches that were played, Kurunegala Zone 2, Colombo North Zone 1, and Colombo North Zone 2 came out victorious against Matale U19, Gampaha Zone 3, and Gampaha Zone 2, respectively.
