Road Race Selection Trials on Nov. 26

Sri Lanka Athletics (SLA) will conduct the 30km Selection Trial in Colombo on November 26, targeting three international marathons to be held in 2024.  

The Sri Lak Athletic Sports Club Annual Road Race is scheduled to be held on the same day starting at 5.30 a.m. near the BMICH in Colombo and ending at Pamunugama, Ja-Ela.  
The selection is for three international marathons to be held in 2024. Athletes are to be selected for the Hanoi International Marathon (January 1, Vietnam), the 19th Asian Marathon Championships (January 21, Hong Kong) and the Bangabandhu Dhaka Marathon (February 9, Bangladesh).  

In addition to this, SLA will form a marathon pool (Men and Women) targeting the South Asian Games (Lahore, Pakistan) marathon to be held in 2024. 

 
Entries containing the player’s name, date of birth, and affiliated association along with a medical report must be handed over to Sri Lanka Athletic No. 33, Torrington Place, Colombo 7 on or before November 22.
