Royal Colombo Golf Club Monthly Medal Shamal and Rusi win

Shamal Perera and Rusi Captain proved that they are top class golfers when they both won the Division A and Nett and Gross respectively at the Monthly Medal of the Royal Colombo Golf Club (RCGC) which took place at their club course in Borella recently.
More than 200 golfers teed off in this event.

In the Junior event, 12-year-old Thejas Rathis Kanth, was in sensational form winning the Nett event while Haroon Aslam accounted for the Gross event.
Division A: Handicap 0 to 9 - Nett Winner - Shamal Perera (69 Nett B/B 9), Runner-up - Sonam Tendulf La (69 Nett); Division A: Handicap 0 to 9 – Gross Winner- Rusi Captain (72 Gross); Division B: Handicap 10 to 18 - Nett Winner - K. H. Han (64 Nett), Runner-up - Chandana Weerasinghe (67 Nett B/B 9); Division B:  Handicap 10 to 18 – Gross Winner - Shehan Ramanayake (77 Gross);  Division C: Handicap 19 to 28 – Nett Winner - W. K. H. Wegapitiya (62 Nett), Runner-up -Sajeewa Sumathiratna (64 Nett); Division C : Handicap 19 to 28 – Gross Winner - Aslam Mohideen (86 Gross); Seniors Division Nett: Winner - Harendra De Silva (70 Nett), Runner-up – S. Jegatheeswaran (74 Nett); Senior Division Gross: Winner - Harendra De Silva (78 Gross); Masters Division Nett: Winner – A. V. Rajendra (67 Nett), Runner-up – V. T.  Sundaralingam  (71 Nett B/B 9); Masters Division Gross: Winner - Milinda Ratnayake (85 Gross); Junior Division Nett: Winner - Thejas Rathis Kanth  (68 Nett), Runner-up - Keshav Algama (69 Nett); Junior Division Gross: Winner -  Haroon Aslam (72 Gross)
