Royal beat Wesley to remain in Tier ‘A’ Segment

Royal College recorded a first innings win over Wesley College in their Under-19 Inter-Schools Division One Tier ‘A’ Cricket Tournament relegation match concluded at Campbell Place yesterday.
The win helped Royal to remain in the Tier ‘A’ Segment of the tournament while Wesley will be demoted to the Tier ‘B’ Segment next year.
Meanwhile, Ananda College were on top against Dharmapala MV, Pannipitiya at the end of the first day’s play of their Under-19 Inter-Schools Division One Tier ‘B’ Cricket Tournament relegation match played at Moratuwa.
