SL Junior Open Golf Championship 2021 Yannik and Kaya lead the way

Young golfing sensations and winners of the recently concluded RCGC Club Championships, Yannik Kumara and Kaya Daluwatte had a sensational starts on day one of the Sri Lanka Junior Open Golf Championship 2021 which commenced at the Royal Colombo Golf Course yesterday.

Kumara ended the Gold Division on top with a score of 69 followed by K. Danushan on 71. Meanwhile in the Girls event in the same category,  Daluwatte was in top form ending day one on 74 followed by Sherin Balasuriya on 78.
In the Silver Division 13-year-old Reshan Algama continued his peak form ending on top with a score of 76 followed by Varun Fernando at 83. In the Girls event K. Krishanthani ending on 106.

In the Bronze Division Rathis Kanth and Kaiyan Johnpillai both tied on 75 a-piece.  The event is sponsored by Prima Sunrise bread.
