SL Karate Do President elected to lead South Asian federation

Shihan Sisira Kumara, President of the Sri Lanka Karate Do Federation has been elected President of the South Asian Karate Do Federation. 

The election of the South Asian Karate Federation for the year 2021-2025 was held through Zoom for the first time, under the leadership of the Presidents of the World Karate Federation. 

Along with Kumara, Bharat Sharma and Purendu Bikram had handed over nominations for the same post, but Bikram withdrew from the race before the election. Kumara received four of the five votes cast, with Sharma getting a solitary vote and with one vote not cast.
