SL announce playing XI for England Test

Sri Lanka announced their playing XI for the first Test against England which will begin today at the Old Trafford Cricket Ground in Manchester.

Sri Lanka have opted to include debutant Milan Rathnayake in their side when naming their playing XI to take on England in the first Test.

The 28-year-old fast bowler will make his debut for Sri Lanka. The visitors will play seven specialist batters and four frontline bowlers in the playing XI.

Sri Lanka playing XI: Dimuth Karunaratne, Nishan Madushka, Kusal Mendis, Angelo Mathews, Dinesh Chandimal, Dhananjaya de Silva (Captain), Kamindu Mendis, Prabath Jayasuriya, Asitha Fernando, Vishwa Fernando and Milan Rathnayake.
