Sri Lanka Athletics (SLA) has decided to hold a World Athletic Coaches Education Certification System (CECS) Level II course for the first time in Sri Lanka in July.
The National Olympic Committee of Sri Lanka will spend nearly Rs. two lakhs for each person for the relevant course.
SLA hopes to select 16 athletic coaches from Sri Lanka for this international coaches course (CECS).
The applicants should have passed the World Athletic CECS Level 1 Coaches Course to be eligible for the CECS Level II course.
Participants should be less than 55 years. They should get a recommendation from SLA for having worked as an athletic coach after getting the CECS Level I and the contribution made to athletics.
