SLC announces T20 World Cup Squad

The Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) Selection Committee selected the 15-member Sri Lanka Squad to take part in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.
The Sri Lanka T20 Squad was approved by the Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs, Harin Fernando. The Sri Lanka Team will depart for the World Cup on May 14.
The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 will be held in the West Indies and USA from June 1 to 29.
The Sri Lanka T20 Squad: Wanindu Hasaranga (Captain), Charith Asalanka (Vice-Captain), Kusal Mendis, Pathum Nissanka, Kamindu Mendis, Sadeera Samarawickrama, Angelo Mathews, Dasun Shanaka, Dhananjaya de Silva, Maheesh Theekshana, Dunith Wellalage, Dushmantha Chameera, Nuwan Thushara, Matheesha Pathirana and Dilshan Madushanka.
Travelling Reserves: Asitha Fernando, Vijayakanth Viyaskanth, Bhanuka Rajapaksa and Janith Liyanage. (SLC Media Release)
