SLC names 17-member squad for Under 19 Youth Asia Cup

Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) yesterday named a 17-member squad for the Under 19 Youth Asia Cup in the UAE starting on Thursday, led by Dunith Wellalage.   

The tournament will end on December 31, and will present invaluable experience to this squad that has been groomed towards the Under 19 World Cup next year. 

The team, which has also benefitted from the expertise of former national captain Mahela Jayawardena, has impressed recently with series wins over Bangladesh and England this year.
