SLPA’s Shenal Chamod comes out on top

The fifth of the seven-event Nestomalt Cycle Challenge organised by the Cycling Federation of Sri Lanka with the blessings of the Ministry of Sports and sponsored by Nestle Lanka PLC under the brand Nestomalt held around the vicinity of the Viharamahadevi Park in Colombo was conducted yesterday, and won by HKN Shenal Chamod de Silva of Sri Lanka Ports Authority.

De Silva won the Under-23 Men’s event, which had a distance of 38km, in a time of 56 minutes and 12 seconds, followed by Saranga Perera and  K.T. Kosgodage both of Army, K.Manush Nihara of Sri Lanka Ports Authority and Anushka Supunsiri of Golden Cycle Club.
