SLR appoints Jayasena as chief rugby selector

Former Police Sports Club rugby star Ashoka Jayasena has been appointed as the Chairman of Sri Lanka Rugby Selection Committee.

Jayasena one of the finest forwards produced by Sri Lanka having started off his career at Police Sports Club, moved to Kandy Sports Club where he continued to excel in the forward pack.

The Selection Committee also includes Rohan Abeykoon, Leslie de Silva, Kapila Knowlton, Hemantha Yatawara.
