SLVB to form Men’s National Pool

The Sri Lanka Volleyball Federation (SLVB) is planning to set up a Men’s National Pool in preparation for the 2022 Central Asian Zonal Volleyball Tournament, which will be held in December in Maldives and invitation tournament will be in Dubai.   

 Therefore, the SLVB will conduct special trials on August 30 and 31 at the Volleyball House in Galle and participating players should report before 8.00 a.m. Secretary SLVB, A. S. Nalaka said yesterday.   

 The National Pool training will commence on September 15 and further details could be obtained from the SLVB Head Office on telephone: 0112669344.  

 The Central Asian Zonal Volleyball Tournament will be Sri Lanka’s first event for 2022 after the SLVB withdrew from three other Asian Tournaments due to financial constraints.
